Drive-Thru Parade Held For Residents At Tulsa Assisted Living Facility

Residents at Brookdale Tulsa Midtown got a special visit from friends and family Tuesday.

The assisted living facility organized a drive-thru parade for folks to come by and say hello to people they haven't been able to see during the pandemic. Both residents and visitors waved and held signs as they drove by the building.

Jennifer Braun from the Brookdale Tulsa Midtown said it was a great way for people to see their loved ones, and they hope those families can fully reconnect soon.

"I just want everyone to know to please continue to wear your mask out in public and those types of things so that our families are able to come back inside our community,” Braun said.

Braun said social contact like this is a blessing for those in assisted living care.
