Organizers are planning a boat parade to support President Trump Labor Day weekend at Lake Eufaula.
Saturday at 11 a.m., supporters of President Trump have arranged a parade of boats to show off the pride they have for him.
Those who would like to participate in the boat parade are asked to meet at Eufaula Cove before 11 a.m. to get set up and in line. Then at 11, the parade of boats will begin moving around the lake at idle speed with flags flying and signs displayed.
Parade organizer Christy Black said hundreds, possibly even more than one thousand, people are planning on taking part in the event either as a participant or spectator.
She said there are people from all over the country coming in for the parade and she wanted to organize this event because she said President Trump needs all the show of support he can get.
"I would love for everyone to come out or participate or spectate wave flags and banners, just show enthusiasm like the rest of us are going to do,” Black said.
A boat parade in support of Trump is also happening at Lake Hudson on Saturday, September 5 at 12 p.m. Participants are asked to meet at the Hwy. 20 bridge.
There is also a similar parade next weekend to show support for the president that is happening at Lake Tenkiller on Saturday, September 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
