The University of Oklahoma and the city of Norman's Campus Corner are making changes to their game day procedures for the upcoming football season.

OU's home opener in next weekend Saturday the 12th but the university has been working for months to get ready for the season, to make sure fans stay as safe as possible. Expect to see a lot of empty seats as the university will cap its stadium capacity at 30% and will have seating pods for families and groups up to 8 people.

The university will also require fans to wear masks at all times in the stadium. OU has installed touch-free services to cut down on possible contact, such as digital tickets and cashless concessions. Campus Corner game days will include outdoor seating options at restaurants and bars. Vendors will be limited to Campus Corner shop-owners and sponsors.

O'Connells will set up a jumbo-tron outside to encourage visitors to watch games outside.
