Bixby Football Makes Changes To Game Day Protocols

Bixby Public Schools are making changes to their attendance protocols this season.

The Bixby Spartans have already had a couple of home games to start the season but now stadium capacity will be set at no more than 50% with masks required to get in the stadium. Coach Loren Montgomery says while a lot of people are following the rules he's noticed some fans taking off their mask as soon as they arrive in the stands.

"It's a bit frustrating for those of us who have been working so hard to get to football season and have been wearing a mask and everything we do since June 8th," said Coach Montgomery

The team has been following several precautions in place during practices like daily temperature checks, required distancing when players aren't running drills, and masks being worn indoors.
