Bartlesville Chapter Of Oklahomans For Equality Will Host Virtual Pride Parade

The Bartlesville chapter of Oklahomans for Equality will host a virtual pride parade Saturday, September 12.

The Bartlesville City Council passed a proclamation declaring September pride month and Oklahomans for Equality Bartlesville said they wanted to celebrate while keeping people safe.

Organizers have said that they are calling this year's event "Pride Inside."

Board member Kelley Becker said they will travel to businesses around town that are supportive of the LGBTQ community and pay tribute to them.

"We have some very vocal business owners here in Bartlesville who have been clear about who they are and what they support," said board member Kelley Becker.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 12 on the Oklahomans for Equality Bartlesville Facebook page.
