Tulsa Police have released new information about two people accused of leading police on a high speed chase. Officers later recovered drugs and loaded guns in their car
Officers said they tried to arrest Jose Ruiz for federal warrants as he was sitting in a car with Brittany Coffee.
When police told them to put their hands up, Coffee, who was the driver, tried to run an officer over and ended up hitting another officer's car
Police said the suspects led them on a high speed chase, ran several red lights and briefly got away. The arrest report said their vehicle was later found abandoned several miles away with several loaded firearms inside.
Not long after, police said they found Coffee and Ruiz near 37th and Peoria.
Police said they also found nearly a pound of meth inside Coffee's purse.
