AAA To Host Route 66 Festival From Tulsa To OKC In 2021

AAA is doing something good to help celebrate Route 66.

The historic highway will get its own festival next year to commemorate the 100th anniversary, five years early.

“We are proud of the mother road, and the role it’s played in shaping our culture, our identity, and our history,” said Oklahoma Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell.

The weeklong event kicks off in June 2021 at River Spirit Expo in Tulsa and ends in Oklahoma City. For more information about the event and to buy tickets visit the Route 66 Fest website.
