Police Search For Man After Sunday Night Car Chase

Tulsa Police are searching for a suspect after an overnight chase with a stolen pickup truck.

The chase happened around 11 p.m. Sunday night when Tulsa Police tried to stop a stolen Ram pickup truck near 13th and Erie.

Police said the driver sped off and eventually began heading north.

According to officers at one point the driver jumped out of the moving truck and took off. The truck then hit a utility pole near 11th and Yale.

TPD used a K9 officer and helicopter to search for the driver but were not able to find him.

Officers said the truck was reported stolen Sunday.

Police are still searching for the driver.
