A Tulsa man entered a guilty plea for multiple bank robberies.
In 2019, Tulsa Police arrested Thomas Dean on suspicion of robbing a bank near 36th and Yale.
According to officials, Dean pleaded guilty to two counts of bank robbery using a dangerous weapon, conveying false information on hoaxes, and being a felon in possession of a .38 Special revolver and associated ammunition.
Officials said Dean admitted to robbing an IBC on July 1, 2019 in a plea agreement.
He also robbed an Arvest on July 10, 2019, officials said.
According to officials, the pleas agreement stated Dean faces a sentence of 12 years in federal prison.
Dean's final sentencing hearing set for Jan. 5, 2021.
