An entire police department is quarantining because of COVID-19 cases in the department.

According to Chelsea Town Administrator, the entire Chelsea Police Department will quarantine due to recent COVID-19 cases in the department.

Officers will have no contact with citizens, but will continue to take calls from dispatch and take reports that require no person-to-person contact.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Cherokee Nation Marshalls, and the Rogers County Sheriff's Office will continue to take all emergency calls and in-person reports, work accidents, and patrol the town.
