The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has announced it is getting a $3.7 million grant for auto-immune disease research. Officials from the OMRF said the National Institutes for Health awarded the grant to continue their research into Sjogren's Syndrome.

The Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation has announced it is getting a $3.7 million grant for auto-immune disease research.

Officials from the OMRF said the National Institutes for Health awarded the grant to continue their research into Sjogren's Syndrome.

OMRF Scientist, Dr. Christopher Lessard received a five-year grant to identify the genes associated with the disease to help with diagnosis and treatment.
