Henryetta Public Schools students will be headed back to the classroom on Monday for the first time in months.

Students have had to learn virtually since the fall semester started in late August.

Not only are students walking into school for the first time in months but they are also getting some new rules.

In terms of restrooms no more than 3 students will be allowed in the restrooms at a time.

Students will not be able to access lockers but will instead have to carry everything with them in a backpack.

Temperature checks will be done before students board buses or enter school buildings.

If students need water they will need to bring their own water bottle since water fountains won't be in use.

Lastly the district is implementing a new lunchtime system. 9th and 11th graders will pick up their food in the cafeteria and eat it there physically distanced. 10th graders will get their food from the high school concession stand and eat in the old gym stands. 12th graders will pick up their lunch and eat it in the auditorium.

Mask will be required for all students and staff.
