Large Crowds Gather In Paris To Honor Murdered Teacher

Large crowds gathered in Paris on Sunday to pay tribute to a teacher who was beheaded on Friday.

According to French authorities, History teacher Samuel Paty was killed by an 18-year-old on Friday after discussing caricatures of Islam's Prophet Muhammad with his class.

French police said the suspect was killed during a stand off with police. The suspect was a Moscow born refugee of Chechen origin according to French authorities.

The police have detained 11 people in connection to the killing.
