Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Saturday.
1.HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: You can get your home ready for the holidays at a home and garden show happening this weekend. The Fall Expo is Tulsa’s only fall home show. You can check out hundreds of exhibits from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Tulsa’s Expo Square.
2.MARKET DAYS: Meadow Gold Market Days kick off Saturday. You can check out fun market booths with art, antiques, crafts, food trucks and fun activities the first Saturday of the month. It’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 11th and Peoria on Route 66.
3.HEAR YE HEAR YE: The Kings Medieval Fair is happening at Black and Gold Park in Glenpool. The free, family-friendly event features a sword tournament, live music and dancing, a beer garden and much more. You can stop by for the fun starting at 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
4.VETERANS PARADE: At 10 a.m. Saturday, the Broken Arrow Elks Lodge is hosting a Veterans Day Parade. The route starts at Main and College street in the Rose District and ends at Veterans park.
5.LIVING STORIES: If you’re looking for a unique theater experience, Tell Me A Story might be for you. True life stories have been adapted into performances, and audiences rotate to different locations in groups of ten. There are still tickets available for 9 p.m. Saturday.
6.ROCKIN’ AT CAIN’S: There’s a Rock-N-Folk No-Chili Cookoff at Cain’s Ballroom. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are being sold in groups of four for tables. You can also watch it on their live stream.
