Tulsa police are searching for a driver who they say crashed into a Jeep before running away on foot early on Monday morning.
According to police the accident, that happened near East Archer Street and M.L.K. Boulevard around midnight, involved a Dodge Ram truck that was headed eastbound and a Jeep Cherokee that was headed southbound.
Police said that the Dodge ran a red light and struck the Jeep.
Officers said that at some point after the wreck the driver of the truck got out of his vehicle and ran away from the scene, leaving behind his wallet and ID in the truck.
According to officers both the passenger and driver of the Jeep are uninjured.
Police have not released the suspect's name and added that they are now working to track him down.
