Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Tuesday.

1.MORE MASK MANDATES? The Broken Arrow City Council meets Tuesday night to consider a mask mandate. Neighbors who support the mandate will gather outside the meeting at 6:30 p.m.

2.EDUCARE: There’s a virtual grand opening at 3:30 p.m. for a new early childhood education facility in Tulsa. Educare’s fourth site will help 160 children.

3.THANKSGIVING MEAL: The John 3:16 Mission Food Drive will start serving Thanksgiving meals Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. They’ll be served every night for four nights. The mission is also accepting food donations.

4.GROCERY GIVEAWAY: Food on the Move will host a drive-thru grocery giveaway in the OSU-Tulsa parking lot A. They’ll be giving away fresh produce and dairy from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

5.SEE THE STARS: The Tulsa Botanic Garden will host “Star Night” starting at 7 p.m. when the Leonid meteor shower will peak. Don’t forget chairs and blankets. The garden will provide two telescopes for viewing the stars.

6.TAKE HOME THANKSGIVING: The Owasso Library will hand out Thanksgiving Take-Home kits Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. The kits contain crafts and Thanksgiving activity pages, they’re first-come, first-serve.
