A federal judge handed down a house arrest sentence to a Tulsa man convicted of scamming a woman out of more than $90,000.

35-year-old Christopher McConnell admitted to convincing his co-worker to send him the money over the span of several months in 2016 and 2017. McConnell told her he would manage her funds and invest them for the woman but he never invested anything and spent the money on himself.

McConnell will be on house arrest for eight months, and also has to pay the victim back for the money she gave him.
