Atoka County Man Found Dead In Woods Now Being Investigated As Homicide, OSBI Says

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is investigating the death of a man in Atoka County as a homicide.

According to the Atoka County Sheriff's office, a 911 call that came in on Saturday reported a man lying in the woods along Boggy Depot Road.

Deputies said that when they arrived on the scene they found the body of 40-year-old Jason Stark.

OSBI officials said the medical examiner has ruled Stark's death a homicide.

No details regarding the cause of death have been released.
