The Oklahoma State Department of health is installing, what it calls, vaccination PODS across the state to help provide increased access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The "PODS" are an acronym for "Points of Dispensing Sites," and state health department officials say they will be installed across the state so people can get the vaccine safely.
In addition to the PODS, the OSDH said that an online scheduling tool should be up and running in the next few weeks to help Oklahomans in each priority group plan for when and where they will get the vaccine. The tool will provide the nearest PODS location and help people schedule appointments when their priority group is ready.

For those in priority group four, which is the general public, it will be a few months before the vaccine is available.
