Tulsa Police: Shooting Victim In Critical Condition

Tulsa Police said a man is in critical condition after he was shot several times in the back during a drug deal.

The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday near 21st and Memorial at the Midtown Park Apartment complex.

Police said the victim was trying to buy meth when he was shot while fighting with the dealer. Police said the shooter drove away from the scene, after a friend of the victim tried shooting the suspect from a balcony.

Officers did take someone in for questioning, but at this point no arrests have been made.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital and police said his injuries are serious, but he’s expected to survive.
