Police Search For Suspects Involved In Stolen Vehicle Chase

Tulsa police on Thursday are searching for two people they say led officers on a late-night chase in a stolen vehicle.

Police said that on Wednesday night officers were looking for a grey Toyota RAV4 after it was stolen at gunpoint.

According to police, officers spotted the vehicle around 11 p.m. near East 81st Street and South Memorial Drive. Officers attempted to make a traffic stop, but the driver would not comply.

Police said officers chased after the vehicle but the driver was able to get away.

During the chase, police say one of the suspects jumped out of the vehicle and ran away. That individual has not yet been found.

According to officers, a police cruiser crashed into another vehicle during the chase, but there were no injuries.
