EMSA paramedics are preparing to say goodbye to one of their own on Tuesday.

Dozens of first responders lined up outside Debbie Rusher’s hospital room last month while she fought COVID-19.

Rusher died just after Christmas. She had worked for EMSA for nearly 22 years.

A funeral procession for Rusher will start Tuesday at EMSA’s Tulsa Corporate Headquarters at 10:30 a.m. It will travel to Okmulgee where Rusher’s family will hold a private funeral service.
