Here are six things to know before you set your alarm for Wednesday.
.EYES ON THE HILL: The big story of the day is all eyes will be on Capitol hill for the certification of electoral college votes. Dozens of House Republicans and at least 13 GOP Senators said they will object to the presidential election certification.
.HEAR FROM THE PEOPLE: A group of Tulsans are heading to Oklahoma City for a rally for President Trump. On the democratic side, the Tulsa County Democratic Party will respond to Oklahoma lawmakers who say they won’t accept state electors.
.COVID CASES: Tuesday, we got a statewide update and Wednesday we’ll get an in-depth look at COVID-19 in Tulsa County. There’s a virtual press conference at noon.
.SAVE LIVES & WIN BIG: The Red Cross is teaming up with the NFL to hopefully boost the blood supply. If you donate Wednesday through the end of the month, you will be entered to win a trip to next year’s Super Bowl in Las Vegas and a Big Game at Home package.
.LATE NIGHT HOOPS: The OU men’s basketball team will face off against Baylor, the second ranked team in the country. Tip off is at 8 p.m. in Waco, Texas.
.GET COZY: Just in time for a rainy Wednesday, it’s National Cuddle Up Day.
