Oklahomans who are waiting to receive the COVID-19 vaccine can now register for it on the Oklahoma State Department of Health's website.

The setup is easy and should take about five minutes to complete. Once you go to the state's registration page, you will be asked a series of questions about your medical history, demographic details, and contact information.

When you have answered those questions, you will then be asked if you want to be contacted when you are eligible to make an appointment. If you are included in Phase 2, 3, or 4 of the state's vaccination plan, you will not be able to schedule an appointment just yet.

Instead, you will receive an email that states, "You have successfully registered to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Based on the details you submitted, you have been identified as a candidate for a group within Phase 2, 3, or 4 of vaccinations. We are currently administering the vaccine to residents who have been assigned to an earlier group [Phase 1]. We will send you an email notification with information on how to schedule your vaccination as soon as your group within Phase 2, 3, or 4 becomes active"
