CBS News Report: President Trump's Cabinet Members Discussed Invoking 25th Amendment

CBS News is reporting that some of President Trump's Cabinet members have discussed the possibility of invoking the 25th Amendment.

CBS's 'Face the Nation' Anchor Margaret Brennan said that sources have made her aware of the potential for the 25th Amendment to be enacted.

Brennan claims that her sources told her some of the President's Cabinet members have been whispering about whether to move forward with formal proceedings to remove him from office.

As written in the Constitution, the 25th Amendment provides the procedures for replacing the president or vice president in the event of death, removal, resignation, or incapacitation.

President Donald Trump's term will end on January 20th, the same day President-elect Biden will be sworn into office.
