Watch: Loyal Dog Waits For Owner Outside Of Hospital

When Boncuk the dog saw her owner being taken away to hospital in northern Turkey last week, the faithful hound was so concerned she followed the ambulance and waited outside the medical facility for several days until her master was discharged.

According to Turkish news agency DHA, Cemal Senturk was taken to hospital in the city of Trabzon last Wednesday and the diminutive white pooch gave chase and waited on the front steps of the hospital.

Senturk's daughter said that when they took the loyal pet home, she ran away again and returned immediately to the medical facility.

A security guard at the hospital said the friendly dog arrived every day at around 9 a.m. and stayed until nightfall, waiting for a glimpse of her owner.

Boncuk was briefly reunited with her master when Senturk was pushed outside in a wheelchair for a visit with his furry companion.

Senturk was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday and has now returned home with Boncuk.
