Police are investigating in Love County after dozens of KKK recruitment flyers were found at homes in Marietta Monday morning.

The town’s mayor Kimberly Fraire said police found 75 of them all over town and she thinks the flyers were distributed at random.

“So, I think that it’s just someone who is trying to incite hate and want to encourage that divide among communities,” Fraire said.

The mayor said those responsible could face public nuisance and littering charges. She also said since the word “church” is on the flyers, they’re protected by the First Amendment from any harsher punishments.
