Even without Cade Cunningham, the Oklahoma State Cowboys rebounded from a loss to Baylor to roll over Iowa State Monday night.
After lackadaisical start, Cowboys put themselves right back into the game and never looked back, beating the Cyclones 81-60.
Two key freshmen not named Cade Cunningham, helped lead the charge for the Cowboys. Mathew-Alexander Moncrieffe put up 22 points and 12 rebounds, his second straight double-double game. Freshman Rondel Walker had 20 points for the Pokes off the bench and sophomore Kalib Boone was key to the offense with 20 points.
As a team, the Pokes shot 59.3% from the field. Despite 24 turnovers for the Cowboys, they dominated on the glass, pulling down 49 rebounds, and allowed just 19 for the Cyclones.
Oklahoma State now moves to 4-4 in the conference and will face Arkansas on Saturday in the SEC-Big 12 challenge.
