13 TU Players Involved In Armed Forces Bowl Brawl To Receive 'Varying Disciplinary Action'

The University of Tulsa announced Friday that 13 players on the football team would receive "appropriate and varying disciplinary action" by the university for their involvement in the New Years Even brawl that broke out at the end of the Armed Forces Bowl against Mississippi State in Fort Worth, Texas.

The University of Tulsa announced Friday that 13 players on the football team would receive "appropriate and varying disciplinary action" by the university for their involvement in the New Years Eve brawl that broke out at the end of the Armed Forces Bowl against Mississippi State in Fort Worth, Texas.

The announcement came in a statement that the university issued regarding the actions that would be taken against any of the players involved in the brawl.

According to the release, the university worked in close coordination with the American Atheltic Conference to come to its decision.

The American Athletic Conference also issued a release where it announced that it had accepted the recommended disciplinary actions that the university had submitted.
