Northeast Oklahoma Schools Closed, Shifting To Distance Learning

Due to the winter storm across Oklahoma, some schools in the area will not be open for in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 16.

Due to the winter storm across Oklahoma, some schools in the area will not be open for in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 16 and Wednesday, Feb. 17.

Jenks Public Schools said they will be in distance learning Tuesday and Wednesday.

McAlester Public Schools announced classes will be canceled on Tuesday and Wednesday and they will have snow days, not distance learning.

Owasso Public Schools announced they will shift to distance learning for Tuesday and Wednesday. They said all offices will be closed and at-home meals will be available the next day school is open.

Union Public Schools will have a snow day Tuesday for elementary students and grades 6-12 will be in distance learning.
