Veteran Salute: James Cochran

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we're recognizing James Cochran.

James served in World War II and Korea.

He served in the military for 32 years as a teacher and VFW commander.

He worked for American Airlines for 37 years and helped launch the 747 planes in the 60s.

His son, Larry, told News On 6 his dad died recently at the age of 95.

We thank James for his service.
