Four students from Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa won this year’s African American Heritage Bowl.
Tulsa City County Library hosts the contest every year to commemorate the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
On Monday, a representative from the library visited the school to give the team a trophy and four Amazon Fire tablets. The team said they plan to donate the tablets to the Tulsa Boys’ Home.
