Turley Man Recovering In Hospital After Shot In Face; Suspect Arrested

A man is recovering in the hospital after he was shot in the face late Tuesday night, a Tulsa County Sheriff's Office told News On 6.

The shooting happened in Turley near 66th Street and North Trenton Avenue.

The sheriff’s office told News On 6 the shooter was inside of a car with the victim’s estranged wife. The victim told them when he walked up to the car several shots were fired and one hit him in the face.

Investigators said Aaron Foltz shot the victim and then took off in a brown Jeep Cherokee.

The victim was taken to the hospital.

“It’s still early in our investigation but right now we are investigating that she potentially went against her will once the shooting occurred,” said Sargent Mike Moore, Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Foltz at a truck stop for shooting with intent to kill.
