Chelsea Woman Arrested, Accused Of Stabbing Husband

Authorities have released the name of a Chelsea woman arrested after deputies say she stabbed her husband in the leg and threatened to kill him.

An arrest report says Cathy Hayworth's husband told investigators he woke up to her screaming at him asking where her pills were while holding a knife in each hand. Deputies say he was able to get away and ran to a nearby fire station for help.

Deputies say when they got to the home Hayworth would not come out. They say it took several minutes before she decided to surrender peacefully. Authorities say after getting a search warrant for the home, they found more than two pounds of marijuana, scales, and guns.

Hayworth was booked for domestic assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, having a gun during a felony, and possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
