QuikTrip-Owned Company Opens First Urgent Care Clinic In Tulsa

A QuikTrip-owned company has opened its first urgent care location in Tulsa.

The first location for the MedWise urgent care clinic opened on Admiral and Sheridan Thursday morning. MedWise, a company owned by QuikTrip, will open 14 other urgent care locations across the Tulsa metro area.

Aisha Jefferson-Smith, Corporate Communications Manager for QuikTrip said they are always looking for new business opportunities and they feel right now is a good time to expand into the medical field.

"You can walk in, you can schedule an appointment, you can go onto our website," said Jefferson-Smith.

The clinics can perform x-rays and other laboratory evaluations. They will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
