Fallen Oklahoma Air National Guard Pilot Honored With Procession

Members of the Oklahoma Air National Guard held a procession Thursday evening for one of their F-16 pilots who passed away.

48-year-old Lieutenant Colonel Eric Jauquet passed away suddenly from cardiac arrest last weekend. He had been with the Oklahoma Air National Guard for 26 years.

Colonel Jauquet’s remains arrived at Tulsa International Airport Thursday afternoon and members of the 138th Fighter Wing organized a procession back to the funeral home in Claremore.

Guardsmen and families lined the streets along the route to give him one final salute. His funeral is Saturday.
