Oral Roberts Loses Heartbreaker To Arkansas In Sweet 16

Arkansas freshman guard Davonte Davis drilled a 2-point jumper with 3.1 seconds left in regulation to give the Razorbacks a 72-70 lead and win over Oral Roberts.

Oral Roberts led Arkansas by as many as 12 points in the second half before the Razorbacks surged passed the Golden Eagles in the South Regional Semifinal.

The Razorbacks are back in the Elite Eight for the first time since 1995.

Saturday was the second meeting between the Golden Eagles and Razorbacks this season.

Oral Roberts had a 10-point halftime lead at Arkansas before the Razorbacks roared back to win 87-76 on Dec. 20 in Fayetteville.
