Rep. Mullin Addresses Supreme Court Ruling On Tribal Jurisdiction

Oklahoma congressman Markwayne Mullin spoke up about how the recent Supreme Court ruling on tribal jurisdiction has caused a lot of confusion across the state.

Mullin said he thinks the Supreme Court needs to clarify its ruling, which he said isn’t clear about tribal boundaries. He also said the tribes need to agree on a solution before Congress can work on legislation.

“So it's far from being solved, it's actually caused a great amount of strain for all of us trying to work with it, including our police officers, and I can tell you we're no closer today than we were yesterday or last year trying to solve this thing,” Mullin said.

Mullin is one of only four U.S. representatives who have tribal citizenship.
