A man who was sentenced to prison for 40 years for sexually abusing two children has had his conviction dismissed because of the Supreme Court ruling on tribal jurisdiction.
Jeffery Jones was convicted of repeatedly sexually abusing girls who were seven and 11 years old.
The federal government has taken over the case and charged Jones with aggravated sexual abuse of a child and now he’ll be tried all over again from scratch.
