Muskogee Police Department To Launch Online Crime Reporting System

Muskogee residents can now report minor crimes to police online or on their phone.

The Muskogee Police Department bought a system that will allow people to report car crashes, car thefts and other crimes through their website.

Deputy Chief Chad Farmer said they are glad to finally have this system because it will allow them to be more proactive.

“And to get everything done that needs to get done, we need to free the officers up to do the more critical calls. So, it will allow the public to still report those incidents that need to be reported,” Farmer said.

The system is live for only crash reports right now, but the department said the system will be fully functional next month.
