Tulsa Public Schools will hold 10 virtual information sessions ahead of a June 8 vote on a $414 million bond package.
The first session will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Nine other virtual sessions will take place throughout the month of May and into early June.
Tulsa Public Schools has laid out four key areas where it said the bond money would be most useful: creating safer learning environments, updating student and classroom technologies, modernizing student transportation, and providing quality learning materials and programs for students.
The district said its $414 million proposal will not increase your tax rate. Meanwhile, the district is still completing projects from a 2015 bond package that totaled $415 million. TPS said several of those projects are planned for the summer and fall but most of the projects are already complete.
