Man In Coffeyville Apprehended After Barricading Himself At Apartment

Coffeyville police arrested a man after officers said he barricaded himself in an apartment for hours and threatened to shoot anyone who got close to him.

The standoff began around 5:30 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of West 9th Street and Old Willow Street.

Authorities said the man barricaded himself on the balcony of an apartment and threatened to shoot anyone who got near him.

After two hours of negotiation, the man surrendered himself to authorities.

Adamma Mayer, 42, was arrested on several complaints.
