Tulsa County Sheriff's Office Arrests 4 In Connection To Car Theft Ring

A man in Cleveland, who had $250,000 worth of cars and bikes stolen from him last week, now has them back.

A man in Cleveland, who had $250,000 worth of cars and bikes stolen from him last week, now has them back.

Bob Underwood says he's so grateful for the work done by investigators.

"Oh it's great, I never thought I'd see them again," Underwood said.

Underwood is now breathing a sigh of relief.

His heart sank a few weeks ago when he found out his classic cars and bikes, which he spent 30 years restoring, were stolen.

He says he lost all hope of getting his stuff back after thieves targeted his farm a second time. So when he got the call that these two vehicles were found, he says he had to see them with his own eyes.

"I was ready to go right then," Underwood said.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says it received a tip that the cars were at a house near Sand Springs.

Drone photos from investigators led to Underwood's stolen cars, that were hidden under tarps.... and the arrest of four suspects.

Deputy Justin Green says they wouldn't have been able to make the arrests, without the community lending a hand.

"It is huge when we have a good working relationship and partnership with the community, and people want to give us a tip or a lead that may lead to solving a crime," Green said.

Green says anytime they can return stolen property to a victim, it's rewarding work.

"I know personally if something of mine is stolen, I would want it back, especially if it's something like a classic car...something you've invested in; something you take pride in," Green said.

Underwood says he plans on getting rid of some of his cars before anyone else tries to steal them, but not all of them.

Underwood says of his antique bikes are still missing.

Deputy Green says the investigation is ongoing.
