2022 Southern Hills PGA Championship Tickets Go On Sale

Tickets for the 2022 PGA Championship go on sale now, while most rounds are sold out, tickets for the championship at Southern Hills on Thursday are still available.

Monday, tickets went on sale for the 2022 PGA Championship happening at Tulsa's Southern Hills Golf Course. Tickets are already sold out for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There are still tickets available for Monday through Wednesday's practice rounds. You can also get tickets for Thursday's championship round.

You don't have to look hard to find a golf fan in Tulsa. “I think we were behind five this Senior tournament. I might try to go back to the same place. It’s just wonderful to see some of the talent that these guys have," said Mark Trotter.

Trotter and his golf group already have their tickets reserved for next year's PGA Championship. With an estimated 40,000 - 45,000 people attending each day, tickets are limited. “I think people realize that it’s been a long time ’07 feels like forever ago. So they’re excited for major championship golf to be back and certainly took advantage of that. Even though this is a huge golf course there is a limit we have to put on the number of people that can come out here," said Bryan Karns.

Karns is the Championship Director for the PGA Championship. He is also from Oklahoma and is happy to bring the PGA Championship back to his home state. “When you dream it up kind of the best place to do one of these it’s obviously in your hometown where it all started. So the fact that we just got to do an incredible senior PGA here, but next year we really put the cherry on top with the PGA Championship. It’s still surreal at this point," said Karns.

If you don't have a ticket yet, Trotter and Karns both recommend volunteering with the PGA Championship to get a different perspective and still be able to watch the game. “It’s pleasurable to go out there and see someone who can really strike the ball well and score well. It was enjoyable. I enjoyed the fact that I got to see a lot of them make poor shots like I do occasionally. So I felt like a professional somewhat that day," said Trotter.
