Thursday is World Elephant Day, so the 6 in the Morning team decided to celebrate on Wild Wednesday by introducing you to Sooky, one of the three Asian elephants at the Tulsa Zoo.
Sooky serves as an ambassador representing the 35,000 Asian elephants still in the wild.
When the News On 6 team came to visit, they learned about a special enrichment that zookeepers do with Sooky and it is all part of a program called "Art Untamed." The program offers animals the chance to try their hand at painting.
So with brush in trunk, Sooky is able to make broad strokes across the canvas, creating a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork.
You can purchase animal art and keep conservation in mind at the same time.
