TPD: Woman Drives Herself To Get Help After Being Shot Overnight

Tulsa police say a woman drove herself to get help after she was shot in the head late Wednesday night.

According to police, a 26-year-old woman was shot in the back of the head around midnight.

Police say she was sitting in front of her uncle's house when someone in a truck fired multiple shots at her vehicle.

Police said that the bullet was lodged behind her ear, but she was alert and able to talk to police.

According to officers, the woman drove herself to a nearby fire department to ask for help.

The woman was taken to the hospital and police are now investigating.
