A three-year-old Oklahoma girl is heading home after a brutal battle with COVID-19.

Amelia Cannon shared an update Monday of her three-year-old daughter Aurora leaving the hospital, complete with balloons and a smile.

"Auroras medical team is AMAZED at how quickly she turned around. No oxygen last night. Running in circles today with no drops in oxygen saturations," Cannon wrote on Facebook.

Last Friday, News On 6 spoke to Cannon, who is a nurse at Saint Francis about her daughter’s battle. She said she shared video of her daughter struggling to breathe because she wanted people to see the reality of how COVID-19 can affect children.
