OHP Troopers Identify Driver Killed In Overnight Crash Along Highway 11

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified a driver killed in an overnight crash along Highway 11 in Osage County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified a driver who was killed in an overnight crash along Highway 11 in Osage County.

Troopers say the accident occurred at around 11:20 p.m. on Tuesday just south of Pawhuska.

According to troopers, 25-year-old Sean Lance Valencia of Pawhuska was traveling northbound on Highway 11 in a Ford F-150, when he crossed the center line to the left and struck a vehicle that was legally parked on the shoulder facing southbound. Valencia was pronounced deceased at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.

It is currently unclear what caused Valencia to depart the roadway.

The other driver involved in the crash was uninjured.
