Silver Alert Canceled In Hugo For 77-Year-Old Man

UPDATE (10:34 a.m., Aug. 28, 2021): A Silver Alert was canceled Saturday morning for a missing Hugo man.

Authorities said 77-year-old Serge Houten has been found.

A Silver Alert has been issued in Hugo in Choctaw County for 77-year-old Serge Houten.

Officials said Houten was last seen at his residence in Hugo on Wednesday afternoon.

They said his vehicle is a 2015 silver Mercedes-Benz SLK with Oklahoma license plate BNN553.

Officials said he has had a stroke and suffers from short-term memory issues and speech problems.
