The Tulsa Zoo is hosting its annual Waltz on the Wild Side Fundraiser this weekend.
Tickets are sold out, but the theme for this year is Flamingo Nights!
Flamingos have been a big part of the zoo since the early 60s.
Jennifer Gabbard has been working with these flamingos for years and said they all have unique personalities, just like people.
The flamingos get their pink color from the food they eat.
Their diet is krill and a special flamingo chow.
Waltz on the Wild Side will raise money for African Wilds: Carnivores, which is the largest expansion of the zoo. it will replace the outdated 1962 cat grottos and provide a new home for the lions, painted dogs, meerkats and other African animals at the Tulsa Zoo.
The project will also introduce pygmy hippos and bring back zebras.
